Adidas Triple White NMD Flipped Back to the 70s

posted in: Custom Kicks | 2

Are you familiar with “That 70s Show”? Ron Burgundy?  Jack Tripper?

These were just some of the inspirations we envisioned when we started this blank canvas.  The NMDs don plenty of color, but are natural muted tones like mint, salmon and vachetta.  Several paint colors were used and there was plenty of masking off intricate portions of these kicks to avoid overspray.  Additionally, these NMDs had a primeknit upper and had to be painted at once to assure that there was no blotchy effects on the finished product.  The Angelus paints used on this pair was:

Raspberry, Salmon, Mint, Vachetta, Burgundy, Mauve, Tahitian Pink and Flat White to slightly lighten the Salmon.  Interested in seeing some custom tutorials done?  Comment below and tell us what you would like to see!
